(NNI): Islamabad Police reunited two teenagers with their parents who lost the way during hiking at trail-V, a police spokesman said on Monday.

According to details, 16-year old Sufyan Saeed s/o Ali Sayed and 18-year old Rana Mudassir s/o Abdul Wahid residents of sector I-9/4 Islamabad lost the way during hiking at trail-V.

They managed to call Rescue 15 and informed them about forgetting the way. After this call, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations) Waqar Uddin Syed assigned the task to Superintendent of Police (City Circle) Sayed Aziz to trace the persons.

Through the coordination of SP (CTF), he constituted special team under supervision of DSP Superintendent of Police Mr.Arif Ulfat including SHO Secretariat police station and personnel of Counter Terrorism Force (CTF) Teams as well as Kohsar police station.

This team started the search operation at 8 pm and succeeded to trace both persons at 6 am on Monday. They reunited both teenagers to their families after,earch operation that continued through whole night.

DIG (Operations) Waqar Uddin Syed has appreciated this performance and announced commendation certificates for the policemen who participated in this operation. NNI.
