Special attention will be given to the poverty-stricken and backward areas of Sindh, Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Tuesday evening as he arrived in town to meet with political allies and the leadership of PTI Sindh to address important issues.
The prime minister said this at the governor ‘s house during a meeting with the leaders of the PTI Sindh core committee. The Premier is also scheduled to visit Larkana during his two day provincial visit.
The members of the PTI Sindh core committee informed him during their interaction with the prime minister about the ongoing development projects in the province, issues related to the Sindh government, and party affairs.
PM Imran said that during these hard times the federal government had tried its best to provide relief to people across the country. He said his government was understanding it and cared about people’s problems. He said that the coronavirus epidemic and poverty were twin challenges being faced by the present government.
The prime minister assured the PTI members that Sindh’s poverty-stricken and backward areas would receive special focus. He also directed PTI legislators to tackle their constituents’ problems as a top priority.
