One of 7th Sky Entertainment’s popular dramas ‘Bandhay Ek Dour Se’ ended last night and people were thankful that it brought a happy ending for Umar and Maheen.
Penned down by Faiza Iftikhar, directed by Ali Faizan, and produced by the ace producers duo Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, the drama was loved and enjoyed because of the family ties and relatable family moments it brought along with a love triangle.
The last episode of the drama was a happening one as Umar finds out that Maheen also loves him and hence, decides to confess his love for her too.
But, as he goes to Maheen’s place to bring Maheen back, he overhears Roshni and Maheen’s conversation, and finds out all the truth related to Roshni and her games.
And, this is when he feels that he is freed from the burden of Roshni’s love and can solely be of Maheen’s without any regrets. He does what he should have done long ago, i.e. gives Roshni a piece of his mind and tells her to stay away from their relationship.
In the end, Roshni is left empty-handed and Umar and Maheen live happily.
Overall, it was a nice and simple happy ending and fans were pleased that it was ended on such a note. They shared their views in comments and stated how they were happy about Umar and Maheen ending up with each other.
Like many other serials by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi led 7th Sky Entertainment, ‘Bandhay Ek Dour Se’ also ended on a high, drawing praises from all corners.
The show had a successful run throughout, and the last episode also drew more than a million views on YouTube in just over 12 hours, which speaks volumes about the popularity of the show and how much the audience loved the serial.
The duo producers deserve appreciation for bringing to us such quality entertainment and family dramas, and we look forward to the upcoming and much-awaited Khuda aur Muhabbat 3 to hit the airwaves soon.
