Maryam Nawaz declares miscreants of May 9 ‘agents of enemy’

The ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz Sharif declared the people who were involved in violence, attack and desecrate of martyrs’ memorials the ‘agents of the enemy’.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the leaders of the PML-N Lahore women’s wing Saida Taimur and minority wing Kamran Bhatti called on Maryam Nawaz in Model Town.

In the meeting, the organization of the party and its progress were reviewed and Maryam praised the performance of women and minority wings.

Talking to party leaders, Maryam said women and minorities have to play a full role in ending political chaos, hatred and violence in the country.

She said for the sake of political interest, the minds of women and youth have been made a ‘minefield’ but this should be remembered by sowing gunpowder, societies and nations are destroyed.

Maryam said women are half of the society’s population so they should also get half of the resources and powers.

She said protection of the rights of women and minorities is a top priority and they are increasing the representation of women and youth gradually.

She said under the constitution, non-Muslim Pakistanis have equal rights and they will work on a comprehensive strategy for welfare of them.
